James Dentith

Business Development Manager

James Dentith is our  Business Development Manager working with businesses in the North East and North Yorkshire.

James joined Baltic Training in September 2015 as part of our very first graduate programme. James excelled throughout the training and into his Business Consultant Role, with very little experience of consulting or of apprenticeships, but his natural talent for the position shone from day 1. Since starting his journey with Baltic, James has hit, and exceeded all targets and objectives put before him, which paved the way for his quick promotion to Business Development Manager within his first year. One of the most rewarding parts of the role for James, is the knowledge that he is helping young people start their career, and get an opportunity which will genuinely change their lives for the better. James has helped various high profile companies reap the benefits of apprenticeships, these include Teesside University, Better Brand Agency, Lindy Electronics and May Green Marketing.

Rugby is James’ passion (apart from apprenticeships and his puppy Milo, who he claims is more popular around the office than he is) and before finishing his degree and joining Baltic, he traveled to New Zealand to play Semi-Professional rugby alongside a number of professional and international players for a season.  An interesting fact about James is, whilst on holiday in America, he rented a jet ski and whilst attempting to show off his skills he collided with a 6 foot Bull Shark which had been tracked up the coast. He wants to go back for round two but after watching Jaws, we don’t think it’s a very wise idea!
