Nicky Hobbs

Operations Director

In her role as Operations Director, Nicky looks after Baltic’s day to day operational activity to ensure our learners are progressed and supported throughout their apprenticeship programme and they achieve their qualifications. 

Nicky oversees the training and assessment function at Baltic, as well as all of the class room scheduling and planning. Nicky is responsible for our customer service experience and is our lead in our partnership with the Institute of Customer Service. Nicky led the team at Baltic to acheive Service Mark accreditation in February 2017 giving Baltic the status of first independent training provider to have been accredited. Nicky works closely with the Customer Relations team in providing a great customer service experience to all of Baltic’s customers; learners and employers..


Before Joining Baltic, Nicky worked for twelve years in Customer Service within the AXA group starting out as Customer Service advisor and ending her career with AXA as Customer Services Team Manager before joining Baltic in 2008.
