Steve is our Senior Business Development Manager working with businesses in the North West.
Steve joined Baltic Training back in November 2013, so has seen the business grow and evolve over the years. After joining the team originally as a Business Development Manager, thanks to his hard work, determination, and always having the interests of the business in the forefront of his mind, Steve was quickly promoted to Senior BDM within a relatively short space of time. The best part of the role for Steve is meeting and developing relationships with a variety of business owners and companies across the North West. Some of these businesses include Sony, Age Partnership, Arvato, Tier 1 and Ricoh.
Apart from his job, which he is incredibly passionate about, Steve says the best part of working for Baltic are the friendships he has built with his colleagues and the fact we are all one big family, always with each other’s best interests at heart. When he’s not at work, Steve has a wide variety of hobbies and interests. Before he got into sales, he spent 5 years completing a cabinet making apprenticeship and he also loves to travel. Steve says this comes from growing up and going to high school in Torremolinos, Spain. He also competed against the Australian National Youth team in the 100m and came second.
Some of the more interesting things happen to Steve when he is traveling, for example back in the 90’s when traveling around Malaysia, he was approached by a film crew and ended up starring in an advert for MTV Asia. We are yet to find the footage. Watch this space!
