About the Employer

One I.T Support were founded 7 years ago and provide services for businesses of all sizes. They offer a friendly, fast and professional service, putting their clients at the centre of everything that they do!

Tasks to be trained in

  • Provide technical support via remote assistance, over the phone and face to face on site
  • Fixing various issues with primarily Windows PCs
  • Hardware repairs of PCs and Servers
  • Logging tickets and recoridng tasks on the system
  • Working in an existing team of technical experts

Training to be provided

Infrastructure Technician Level 3
Course Content:
The modules you will complete as part of this apprenticeship are:

  • Coding and Logic (Includes Exam)
  • Business Processes (Includes Exam)

Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA’s):

  • Networking Fundamentals (Includes Exam)
  • Mobility and Device Fundamentals (Includes Exam)
  • Cloud Fundamentals (Includes Exam) 

Skills Required

  • Understanding of working with computers and hardware
  • Experience of customer service would be beneficial
  • Hardworking and eager to learn
  • Organised and Proactive.
  • A Driving Licence would be preferred, or learning to drive.

Salary, Hours, Benefits

  • 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
  • 37.5 hours a week
  • £138.75 a week
  • Access to additional internal training
  • Free gym membership

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.

Location & Travel

Located close to the North Shields Metro station, and on the Yellow line, there are plenty of options for travel across the region. Parking is also available close by.

Funding

Due to funding requirements, there is specific candidate criteria that applies to this apprenticeship opportunity. In order for our employer to offer this vacancy they must be able to draw down full government funding for the position. As such, only candidates aged 16 – 18 will be eligible to apply for this vacancy.
