About the Employer
CMC Sharp Technology have been established for over 25 years and offer a complete IT service including IT equipment and even office furniture. CMC Sharp Technology offer a huge amount of customer support involving Cloud Networking, Office Solutions, Graphics and PC Maintanance. They are an MK Dons Football Club Tech Partner and are now looking for a passionate individual to join their team of IT professionals.
Tasks to be trained in
- Working on a helpdesk dealing with IT support tickets
- Remote support for customers online and over the phone
- Attending client visits locally to provide IT support
- Working with software and hardware repairs and maintenance
- Keeping up to date records on all customer interaction
Training to be provided
Infrastructure Technician Level 3
The modules you will complete as part of this apprenticeship are:
- Coding and Logic (Includes Exam)
- Business Processes (Includes Exam)
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA’s):
- Networking Fundamentals (Includes Exam)
- Mobility and Device Fundamentals (Includes Exam)
- Cloud Fundamentals (Includes Exam)
- Passion for Technology
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Comfortable with speaking over the phone
- Presentable due to regular client visits
- Keen to learn

Salary, Hours, Benefits
- £150.00 per week
- Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week)
- 20 Holidays plus Bank Holidays
- MK Dons FC ticket incentive
- Occasional work nights out
- Uniform provided
There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.
Location & Travel
CMC Sharp Technology are located in Milton Keynes and is easily accessible via local public transport links including train and buses from wider areas. Parking is also available for those who drive.
Due to funding requirements, there is specific candidate criteria that applies to this apprenticeship opportunity.
