Based in Trident Business Park within the delightful area of Birchwood, you’ll be involved in supporting and communicating with both our clients and engineers.

Salary, Hours & Benefits

  • £9750 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
  • 1 hour lunch break
  • 20 days holiday entitlement (plus bank holidays)

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting into the IT Manager, you will be working within a team of 6, where there is a strong emphasis on staff development and training.
Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing technical support including answering queries onsite and via phone/email
  • Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries
  • To log all calls on the internal CRM system
  • Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing training and advice
  • To allocate/escalate more complex issues to senior members of the team

Full support and guidance will be provided by both the employer and training provider throughout the apprenticeship.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Understanding of troubleshooting would be beneficial but not essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft based technology would be beneficial  
  • Good communication skills both written and verbally

Personal Qualities

  • Comfortable with talking over the phone
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Able to use own initiative

This role is located in Warrington, with easy access to local public transport links from wider areas. With the closest Train Station only being a 20 minute bus journey away, provides routes to central Warrington. There is also car parking in the surrounding area for those who drive.
