Based at the awesome Sheffield Technology Park, you’ll be involved in helping to shape future product development in such a niche market.
Salary, Hours & Benefits
- £12,272 per annum
- Monday to Friday
- 8.30am – 5.30pm
- 20 days holiday entitlement (plus bank holidays)

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be working within a team of 4, where there is a strong emphasis on staff development and training.
Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting the support team in responding to members’ requirements
- Implementation of new features across the product range
- Helping to build front end web interfaces
- Learning and understanding database schema
Full support and guidance will be provided by both the employer and training provider throughout the apprenticeship.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- A clear passion for Software Development
- Previously wrote basic code during studies or in own time
- A basic understanding of HTML, Java or PHP would be advantageous but not essential
- Keen and eager to develop skills
- Able to work using own initiative
- Sense of humor
- Good problem solving skills
- An interest in podcasts would be advantageous but not essential

Rebel Based Media are based in Sheffield Technology Parks and are located within the city centre of Sheffield. Rebel Based Media operate from a modern office building with excellent transport links close by. The closest train station is a couple of minutes’ walk from the office and there are a variety of bus and tram stops around the area.
