Based in Wath upon Dearne, close to Rotherham, you’ll be join their supportive team in their well equiped office space to develop your skills and knowledge across exciting programming languages such as HTML, CSS and many more!

Salary, Hours & Benefits

  • £10,725 per annum
  • Monday to Friday
  • 9am – 5.00pm
  • 20 days holiday entitlement (plus bank holidays)

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting into the IT manager, you will be working within a small team, where there is a strong emphasis on staff development and training.

Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintaining & fixing of software bugs
  • Tweaking/Updating our Websites
  • Using the database to generate Data Reports
  • Developing bespoke projects
  • Troubleshooting faults

Full support and guidance will be provided by both the employer and training provider throughout the apprenticeship.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Enthusiasm for website development & computer programming
  • A basic understanding of code languages would be beneficial (self-taught or through studies)
  • An understanding of IT & Technology
  • A methodical and logical approach to troubleshooting

  • Ability to demonstrate good problem solving skills
  • Determined to learn new skills and develop
  • Honest and trustworthy

Located in the well located area of Manvers, Rotherham – Gala Tent has great access to local public transport links from wider areas. The closest train station is only a short 10 minute walk away with and additional regular bus running every 7 minutes. Free on-site parking is also available for those who drive.
