There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting into the Sales Manager, you will be working within a team of 4, where there is a strong emphasis on staff development and training.
Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Writing social media posts and scheduling their release
- Writing of marketing materials such as brochure content, web content, etc.
- Involvement in marketing campaigns
- Google analytics, Facebook and Twitter insights and website analysis
- Working on SEO and PPC campaigns to increase online presence
- Input on the tone of web updates e.g. tone, images, links, engagement
Full support and guidance will be provided by both the employer and training provider throughout the apprenticeship.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Good work ethic
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop or other creative software would be beneficial but not essential
- Able to use own initiative
- Keen to start a long and successful career in marketing
- Professional and proactive attitude
- Good grammar and attention to detail
- Willing to learn

Location & Travel
This role is located just outside of central Wakefield with easy access to local public transport links to wider areas. Local bus stops are within close proximity which offers regular services to surrounding areas and beyond. There is also free on-site parking for those who drive.
