Josh Joins Purple Creative

By Josh.

Hello! My names Josh and recently I have been taken on as a Junior Digital Marketing Assistant here at Purple Creative Studio, so I thought I would take some time to give some details about myself. I’ve recently completed my A-levels at Northallerton School and Sixth Form college which consisted of English Language, Physics and Graphic products. At the end of my time at college I was faced with the question of ‘what next?’. In my mind there were only two options for me, University or an apprenticeship.

I decided that an apprenticeship was the best option for me and a way to further myself into a career within a work environment, and Purple Creative Studio seemed like a perfect fit for me. As for the role itself I’ll be honest everyone I have told about it has been extremely jealous, I mean getting to go to work with social media all day must be up there with one of the dream jobs, especially as I’m almost always using it anyway it makes sense to use it constructively

I think the best part of the role so far is that I’m encouraged to be creative, which I am really enjoying as it means that the work itself is enjoyable. Looking back to 3 months ago when I got my results, if someone told me that I would be in the position that I am now I would have most likely told them not to be crazy. I think it goes without saying that I’m over the moon with this placement and I feel sorry for anyone who bumps into to me in the coming weeks as I have not shut up about the place and will probably talk your ears off.

There is a very much a sense of family here. Everyone seems nice and there is a warm and friendly atmosphere which is helping me settle in, because as most people know starting a new job can be nerve-racking, but everyone has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome. Even though I haven’t been here long I’m already learning new things but as well as this I’ve been able to develop some of my existing skills.

I can honestly say that I’m really enjoying myself here if you couldn’t tell by the amount of times I’ve repeated it throughout. I’m loving every minute and looking forward to seeing how my future pans out here and excited to be joining such a professional and amazing company here at Purple Creative Studio.
