Business Analyst Higher

The aim of this apprenticeship is to provide the skills and knowledge required of a successful business analyst. This allows the learner to investigate and select correct solutions to meet business needs. The learner will develop skills such as understanding root cause, investigating business situations, and identify and evaluate options for business development.

Business analysts will be able to determine how to improve efficiency, while ensuring solutions meet requirements.

Course Content:

The modules in this apprenticeship include:

  • Project Management and Effective Communication in Business
  • System Development Lifecycle

International Software Quality Institute (iSQI)

Apprentices will also complete an End Point Assessment (EPA) which includes: External Assessment, Synoptic Project, and Interview.

The training is delivered using a variety of methods, including Online Live, workshops and self study. Apprentices will receive assessor contact every 6 weeks which will be a full progress review, we encourage all managers and mentors to participate in this progress review. Towards the end of the apprenticeship the assessor will provide final contact sessions to prepare your apprentice for EPA.

Courses will run typically every 12-14 weeks, and the order of the modules
can be subject to change.

The exams associated with the apprenticeship standard programmes will be delivered in the nearest test centre. The BCS Business Analysis Foundation exam is available upon request, on successful completion of the programme.

Baltic Training do not deliver training in isolation. In addition to the experience gained through meaningful employment the apprentice will develop key business skills which will strengthen their employability within any chosen path.
