This Infrastructure Technician Microsoft involves using technical knowledge and understanding in order to support customers with their queries and issues across a range of technical areas in relation to Microsoft technologies. The apprentice will learn skills such as installing hardware and software, network troubleshooting and implementing security fixes for both local and cloud based systems. They will know how to successfully manage and service customers in accordance with the ITIL model and gain an understanding of coding and logic by exploring paradigms and languages for development.

- Mobility and Device Fundamentals – MTA
- Cloud Fundamentals – MTA
- Coding and Logic
- ITIL Foundation
- External Assessment, Synoptic Project and Overview
The training is delivered using a variety of methods, including Onlive Live, workshops and self study. Apprentice’s will receive monthly contact through our virtual assessing.The assessor will carry out a full progress review every 8 weeks and a feedback action plan every 8 weeks, meaning the types of contact will alternate through the programme. Courses will run typically every 5-8 weeks, and the order of the modules can be subject to change.
The exams associated with the apprenticeship standard programmes will be delivered in the nearest test centre.
ITIL Exam is available upon request, on completion of unit.

Baltic Training do not deliver training in isolation. In addition to the experience gained through meaningful employment the apprentice will develop key business skills which will strengthen their employability within any chosen path.
There are various grants available to cover additional training costs such as the AGE Grant.
