Infrastructure Technician involves using technical knowledge and understanding in order to support customers with their queries and issues across a range of technical areas in relation to various technologies. The apprentice will learn skills such as installing hardware and software, network troubleshooting and implementing security fixes for both local and cloud-based systems. They will know how to successfully manage and service customers in Business Processes and gain an understanding of coding and logic by exploring paradigms and languages for development.
This programme is at Level 3.
This apprenticeship will help you fill roles such as:
- Junior IT Technician
- Junior Support Engineer
- Junior Helpdesk Support Advisor
- Junior Helpdesk Analyst
- Junior Systems Administrator
The modules in this apprenticeship include:
- Coding and Logic (Includes Exam)
- Business Processes (Includes Exam)
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA’s):
- Networking Fundamentals (Includes Exam)
- Mobility and Device Fundamentals (Includes Exam)
- Cloud Fundamentals (Includes Exam)
Apprentices will also complete an End Point Assessment (EPA) which includes: External Assessment, Synoptic Project, and Interview.
The training is delivered using a variety of methods, including Online
Live, workshops and self study. Apprentices will receive assessor contact every 6 weeks which will be a full progress review, we encourage all managers and mentors to participate in this progress review.
Towards the end of the apprenticeship the assessor will provide final contact sessions to prepare your apprentice for EPA. Courses will run typically every 5-8 weeks, and the order of the modules can be subject to change.
Each week of training will consist of 4 days Online Live training followed
by 1 day exam. The exams associated with this apprenticeship will be delivered in the nearest test centre.

Baltic Training do not deliver training in isolation. In addition to the experience gained through meaningful employment the apprentice will develop key business skills which will strengthen their employability within any chosen path.
