This Network Engineer apprenticeship will give the learner the knowledge and understanding to install and manage enterprise-level networks. The apprentice will go through a number of CompTIA courses and learn about advanced networking techniques such as subnetting, server virtualisation and planning for network security issues and disaster recovery. They will know how to monitor and optimise network performance levels while ensuring that common risks and vulnerabilities are planned for and protected against.

The modules in this apprenticeship include:
- CompTIA Network+ (Includes Exam)
- CompTIA Server+ (Includes Exam)
- CompTIA Security+ (Includes Exam)
Apprentices will also complete an End Point Assessment (EPA) which includes: External Assessment, Synoptic Project, and Interview.
The training is delivered using a variety of methods, including Online Live, workshops and self-study. Apprentices will receive assessor contact every 6 weeks which will be a full progress review we encourage all managers and mentors to participate in this progress review.
Towards the end of the apprenticeship the assessor will provide final contact sessions to prepare your apprentice for EPA.
Courses will run typically every 12-14 weeks, and the order of the modules
can be subject to change.
The exams associated with the apprenticeship standard programmes will be delivered in the nearest test centre.
